Under the co-leadership of Managing Director Angela Bayler and Artistic Director Trista Duval, Centerstage Theatre has been working exceptionally hard over the past 3 years to raise the bar of theatre in the Federal Way and surrounding areas. By producing more well-known plays, hiring more experienced local actors, and rebuilding a bridge to the community, Centerstage has been on an upward trajectory. Although COVID-19 restrictions have necessitated the slowing of operations, we do not plan on stopping anytime soon!

Centerstage employs around 50 actors, 5 directors, 3 choreographers, 5 stage managers, lighting designers, costume designers, assistant stage managers, set designers, set builders, set painters, and 8 high school interns. Our goals are to pay these contractors a living wage, but right now we can only offer stipends for work they bring to our stage. Centerstage has fought to keeps its doors open over the past couple of years and has been reaching a place of balance and strength recently, but we cannot stay in this balance without support from our community as we move forward.
